Tait Communications and FreshRF are excited to announce FreshRF joining the Tait Technology Program as a Registered Partner.

As a global leader in two-way radio with a focus on innovation, Tait’s Technology Partner Program identifies and supports suppliers who bring complementary technologies and skills to support and help meet customers’ requirements for complete solutions.

In the critical communications market, the addition of smartphones, tablets and all the apps and information flow they enable is significantly influencing customer expectations of enhanced communications and productivity.

The FreshRF team has extensive experience working with Tait dealers and staff and their customers across many different industries and geographies, and on all the primary mobile radio systems — MPT, DMR and P25. FreshRF has a strong reputation for robust, simple and productive solutions which, by leveraging the best capabilities of smartphones and tablets, allow land mobile radio users to enhance the capabilities of two-way radio. Tait and FreshRF have worked together on solutions in North America, Australia and New Zealand.

Ellery Hurn, Tait’s Product Manager for Partner Products, says formalising the longstanding relationship with FreshRF is the logical next step.

“In the market the convergence of technologies we’re seeing is creating both heightened expectation and anxiety among customers. The concern is that the promise of these newer technologies will not eventuate or will not integrate well with their tried and true mobile radio systems. By teaming with FreshRF on a more formal basis, we together will deliver real value to our customers as well as expanding a number of technology and market opportunities for both companies,” he says

Andrew Thompson, Chief Executive of FreshRF, says, “Partnering with such a robust global player as Tait will ensure customers are able to access technology that leverages their investment in radio.

“The FreshRF SmartBridge products take all our years of working with radio and now delivers app-level ease of deployment, use, and management, but coupled with the robust critical communic ations capabilities of Tait’s modern radio systems. We are particularly excited about the opportunities around DMR Tier 3 as this standard is now bedded in and offers a solid platform for future innovation.”
